Correction here, the spartan is NOT made by Yukon, its actually made by USA Standard Gear. I emailed Yukon to find out.

Its gonna go into the back ... probably later will put em in the front too
Though had read here that lockers in front requires better (read chromoly) drive shafts, and those arent available here and shipping would kill

Cheers

They are easily missed if not looking for them...

U.P.S sures like to take thier sweet arse time. my last order was the same, took them a little over two weeks to get a cylinder head to me, but only took five days to ship my old head back to the company.(how do I know?) I tracked it all the way back to the company using U.P.S.

hang in there.

Just a DD that I got to use for hunting. I started out with a vision of yj's and 32" tires with a 16 valve, but after wheeling it on my hunting property, I've decided to just install a Spartan in the rear and an Old Man EMU SPUA lift kit from TrailTuff and that's it.

I just can't get this Zuk stuck! It can clime a hill so long and steep that the gear oil leaks out of the transmission vent and onto the exhaust, but it just keeps climbing.

I love my ZUK!

Bang bang

had gone offroading last weekend and the lockers performed beautifully!!!
Was using 2hi in lotsa places where others were using 4hi.

The drive to the city was peaceful drove about 150miles(highway) to the place and the locker was not vocal at all. Was cruising at about 50MPH as I wasnt sure how the vehicle would behave at higher speeds with the locker.

The route from the city to the trails had some really tight U curves goin up n down the side of some hills ... tarmac+locker= lotsa bangs!!

On the trail - which basically consisted of slush (the trail went through the scenic western ghats of India) couldnt believe that a small locker could make such a huge difference!!

Will post pics soon - need to collect from as many people as possible

Well the locker has been in for about 1000 kms of asphalt drive and about 100 kms of offroad, and I am happy to say that the banging has reduced substantially!!!
It is now more like knocks - the wife doesnt know that I have lockers and she didnt notice the knocks initially .. it was only on long curves that the persistant knocks were noticed (and questioned) by her!!
